Weinmuseum (Wine Museum)
Viticulture has a long tradition in Röttingen in the Tauber Valley, and with its Weinmuseum (Wine Museum), the town gives this tradition a face. With its exhibits, it not only provides information about viticulture in general, but also about the Feuerstein vineyard in Röttingen and the grape varieties found there. The museum is located in the rooms of the castle, which was built in the 12th century. The Julius-Echter ceiling in the interior with gallery is a special feature in Lower Franconia with its reconstructed 16th century colour scheme.
