Wasserburger Bierkatakomben (Wasserburg beer catacombs)
Important information:
Dim light and cool temperatures give an authentic impression of the purpose of the seven former summer beer cellars, which were built between 1785 and 1928. Back then, cellars like these were the only way to store bottom-fermented beer over the summer. During the guided tours, visitors learn about the history of the "beer catacombs", working tools and techniques of beer production, bottling and, above all, storage.
