Städtisches Schulmuseum (Municipal School Museum)
In 1989, the town of Lohr opened a school museum in a 19th century house that was also used as a school in the past. Rector Eduard Stenger collected most of the exhibits from the immediate vicinity. The museum focuses on schools and extracurricular education in the German Empire around 1910 and in the Third Reich. The preceding 19th century and the new beginning in the post-war period up to the present day form a chronological framework in which developments and differences become particularly clear. Two fully furnished classrooms and a teacher's flat give an impression of the school atmosphere of the past.
