Städtische Galerie Traunstein (Municipal Gallery Traunstein)
The Städtische Galerie Traunstein (Municipal Gallery Traunstein) houses the art collection of the town of Traunstein, which comprises around 3000 objects, including paintings from the 17th century to the present day, the estate of the woodcutter Ernst von Dombrowski, a collection of drawings and sketchbooks by the Traunstein art teacher Georg Huber, a collection of sketchbooks by the artist Günther Schuhböck, a collection of prints and press prints by Wilhelm Neufeld and a small collection of works on paper by Heinrich Stichter. In addition to exhibitions of contemporary art, the holdings of the art collection are regularly presented in changing, themed exhibitions.
