Stadtmuseum Zehentstadel (City Museum Zehentstadel)
The Stadtmuseum Zehentstadel (City Museum Zehentstadel) combines cultural history and natural history under the roof of the 1547 Zehentstadel. It tells the story of "people and their town": of the Stone Age hunter, the late Roman mercenary and the medieval town dweller, the farmer and the Nabburger of the early 20th century. Especially aimed at children and young people, history is presented here interactively and in various media, such as comics and audio books. You won't find out where the fox and the hare say good night - but you will find out how! Because sounds can be assigned to the animal preparations via touchscreen. And there are many other opportunities to experiment, play, smell, feel and explore in "Of People and Animals". In the integrated "Bavarian Information Centre for Ant Science" you can even look into an animal living room - i.e. an ant's nest.
