The chronological history runs through the Stadtmuseum Fürth (City Museum Fürth) like a red thread. It forms the backbone for a sequence of 11 thematic areas that illuminate economic, social and cultural-historical aspects of the city's development. Original exhibits, reproductions, media installations and sensory stations send visitors on an exciting journey through time. Although the city's history is documented up to early times, the focus is on the 19th and 20th centuries, the phase when Fürth became a city and experienced an economic upswing.
