Between 1892 and 1914, the pencil manufacturer Conrad Conradty had a housing estate built with a total of 180 exemplary houses for his workers. One of the oldest of these houses has been converted into the town museum. Here, the everyday lives of working-class families and the close links between the social and urban development of Röthenbach and the Conradty family business are illustrated.
