Dürer and Rembrandt are just two of the big names in the 400,000-sheet collection that makes the Graphische Sammlung München, along with Berlin and Dresden, the most important collection of drawings and prints in Germany and one of the world's leading cabinets. The collection covers all epochs from the 12th century onwards, with a focus on Old German and Dutch drawings and prints, Italian drawings, German drawings of the 19th century and international contemporary graphics.The Graphische Sammlung presents its holdings in changing exhibitions in its rooms in the Pinakothek of Modern Art (Pinakothek der Moderne).
