In the Spielzeugmuseum im Alten Schloss (Toy Museum in the Old Castle), room after room (there are 12!), display case after display case, all filled with toys of all kinds. Over 2500 exhibits - dolls, doll's houses and kitchens, rocking horses, trains, wooden and tin toys, construction sets, pedal cars, games, children's books, pewter figures, children's uniforms and much more - provide a comprehensive overview of the development of toys from the 18th century to the 1960s. In addition to the toy museum, the small knights' hall with its collection of historicist glassware, the house chapel and the East Asian tower room are also open to visitors.
