Skigeschichte Nesselwang (Ski history Nesselwang)
Nesselwang is not only a popular skiing area, the town has also written skiing history. Or rather, its ski athletes, to whom the museum is mainly dedicated: more than 300 championship titles can be attributed to Nesselwang skiers. The exhibition ranges from the pioneers of the village at the end of the 19th century to the Nordic combined skier Franz Keller, who won the 1968 Winter Olympics in Grenoble, to the three-time Olympic champion in Turin in 2006, the biathlete Michael Greis. You can also find out about the construction of the ski jumps, the development of the biathlon and, of course, skiing in Nesselwang.
