There is much to tell about the history of the Schwarzach valley! The collection of the Schwarzachtaler Museum of Local History occupies 18 rooms in the old Palatine Castle dating from the 15th century. It shows the history and culture of the town and the surrounding area from the beginnings of its settlement to the time after the World Wars. This includes a large section of historical militaria as well as sacred art or reverse glass paintings of the "Winklarn School". And finally, you can enjoy the view of Neunburg and the Schwarzach valley from the tower room.
