Schwäbisches Handwerkermuseum (Swabian Craftsmen Museum)
Important information:
Old crafts come to life again in the former fountain master's house of the hospital at the Red Gate from the 18th century. Numerous workshop facilities present not only traditional craftsmen such as the shoemaker, tessellator, stonemason and plasterer, but also comparatively young professions such as the radio and television technician or office machine mechanic.
The museum is located on the "Handwerkerweg", a facility that shows visitors traditional crafts still carried out today in businesses throughout the city, most of which have existed for several centuries.
