As a "place of remembrance", the Heimatstube focuses on the former district around Schluckenau (Šluknov) in what is now the Czech Republic. Many stories revolve around the personal belongings rescued during the expulsion in 1945. Models show important buildings and numerous objects document the local textile production, artificial flower industry and nativity scene carving.
