The "Bezirksamtmann-Stöckl" of Wolfstein Castle is home to the Galerie Wolfstein, the first art collection in Bavaria to be founded by a district. The focus of this collection is contemporary art from the East Bavarian region. The "Donau-Wald-Gruppe" is presented here in its entirety. Artists from the "Donaulandgruppe" and the "Eule" are also represented. The caricature and cartoon cabinet shows graphics by renowned draughtsmen such as Paul Flora or Horst Haitzinger.
