The history of Silesia, presented using selected historical landmarks, is at the centre of the Silesian Showcase. This includes nature, crafts, industry and literature. The fate of the displaced persons and the work of the Landsmannschaft Schlesien as well as the reconstruction efforts and integration of the Silesians who settled here after 1945 are documented as a piece of Bavarian history using testimonies from the generation that experienced the region.
