Important information:
Shipping, shipbuilding and fishing have characterised the life and work of people in the Main town of Wörth for centuries. It is therefore not surprising that the Wolfgangskirche, which has been converted into a museum, presents the importance of the Main as a transport route, shipping on the Main, shipbuilding technology and the development of fishing with the help of illustrative objects, models, pictures and documents. The exhibition on Roman times in Wörth in the nearby community centre shows that even the Romans knew how to use the Main for their own purposes.
