Rotkreuzmuseum im Goßmannsdorfer Tor (Red Cross Museum in the Goßmannsdorf Gate)
The Red Cross Museum tells the story of the Red Cross charity. Writings from the founding period around 1864, exhibits on first aid training from both world wars and the "Handmarie", a mobile stretcher, show the development of the Red Cross. They also include a replica of a sickroom from 1900, an original pharmacy from 1903 and the theming of the blood donation service founded in 1953. The completely preserved series of books of the Tracing Service for Missing Persons of the 2nd World War fills an entire wall shelf.
