Rosenburg mit Falkenhof und Museum (Rosenburg with falconry and museum)
Situated on a mountain promontory, Rosenburg Castle passed to Duke Ludwig I of Bavaria in 1196 and remained in the possession of the House of Wittelsbach from then on.the extensive complex is essentially Romanesque; the foundations, inner enclosure wall and the stump of the keep date back in part to the 12th or early 13th century. after later alterations and destruction in 1525, today's appearance is characterised by the residential buildings with stepped gables built in the style of the southern German Renaissance. The castle chapel with murals dating from around 1560 is worthy of special mention and today the Rosenburg is home to a falconry centre and museum.
