Röntgen-Gedächtnisstätte (Röntgen Memorial)
Important information:
On the evening of 8 November 1895, Wilhelm Conrad Röntgen made a groundbreaking discovery that was to revolutionise medicine: With the rays named after him, it was possible to "look inside" the human body for the first time. At the site of this discovery, the former Physics Institute of the University of Würzburg, you can admire Röntgen's experimental apparatus and other physical devices and trace the life of the Nobel Prize winner.
