Kulturzentrum Ostpreußen in der Residenz Ellingen (Cultural Center East Prussia in the residence Ellingen)
The East Prussia Cultural Centre in the west wing of the baroque castle of the Teutonic Order sees itself as a museum "showcase" for the regional studies and cultural history of East Prussia. Unique exhibits accompany visitors on their journey through the land between the Vistula and the Memel. Selected topics are vividly presented: Amber Cabinet, Königsberg Citizen's Room, East Prussia in Maps, Historical Hunting Weapons, Cadin Majolica, the History of the Salzburg Exiles, Rural Life and Work. A painting gallery shows works by important artists from East Prussia, including Käthe Kollwitz and Lovis Corinth.
