The colourful world of puppet theatre awaits the visitor here: marionettes, rod and shadow puppets as well as hand puppets from Europe and Asia, but also posters and musical apparatus. 60 years of collecting by the founder of the Kaufbeuren Puppet Theatre, Alois A. K. Raab, form the basis of the museum, which has been expanded by the puppetry history collection of Dr. Purschke.
