PLATFORM is unique in Germany in its combination of training for the cultural labour market, the provision of studios for creative professionals and the organisation of an interdisciplinary exhibition and event programme. It makes new ideas and products visible and creates synergies between cultural and creative professionals. It identifies relevant topics and provides impetus for cultural and socially relevant fields of work and new business models. As a project of the City of Munich, PLATFORM has been funded by the Munich Employment and Qualification Programme (MBQ) of the Department of Labour and Economic Affairs since 2009.
