Pfefferminzmuseum (Peppermint Museum)
The scent must have been overwhelming: From 1918 onwards, peppermint was grown in Eichenau on an area of over 400,000 m². And it was of such high quality that the "Eichenau mint" was known and sought after throughout Europe. Today it is only cultivated in the local Pfefferminzmuseum (Peppermint Museum). Here the visitor learns interesting facts about the once great importance of this medicinal plant for Eichenau as well as about its cultivation, harvesting and drying.
