Paul-Röder-Museum im Martinsheim (Paul-Röder-Museum in the Martinsheim)
The Museum im Martinsheim describes the paintings of the Barmen artist Paul Röder (1897-1962), who spent the last years of his life in Marktoberdorf, as "explosive in colours and formal structures". Around 70 paintings offer a cross-section of Röder's life's work, which was strongly influenced by Impressionism. His collection of African, Asian and Oceanic weapons and tribal cult objects gives an impression of Paul Röder as a collector.
