Naturkundliches Museum Schweinfurt (Natural History Museum Schweinfurt)
Birds over 200 years old can be marvelled at in the Natural History Museum. The Schuler brothers donated the collection of 300 specimens - mainly from Europe - to their home town of Schweinfurt in 1892. The animals are displayed in diorama showcases modelled on their natural habitats, and photos, drawings and texts explain the basics of ornithology. The museum is housed in the neoclassical "Harmonie" building, which was built in 1833 as the "Vereinslocal" of the society of the same name.
