Pommelsbrunn lies on the Golden Road, which connected the two important cities of Nuremberg and Prague in the Middle Ages, and can thus look back on 700 years of history. This is also reflected in the dioramas of the pewter figure department. As the name suggests, however, local history is only one aspect of the museum. The spectrum of the natural history section ranges from cultural landscapes and minerals to caves and fossils.
