Museum Wolfratshausen
Wolueradeshusun" - as Wofratshausen was called in a document from the year 1003 - can look back on over 1000 years of history. As a lifeline, the Loisach was particularly important for the development of the town. A large mural traces the course of the river and runs through the exhibition from north to south. "City on the water" is the name of the room that deals with life on and with the Loisach. Two further rooms are dedicated to Wolfratshausen's traditional trade - rafting. Other characteristic themes of the town are the bourgeoisie and trade as well as the bohemian summer resort at the turn of the century.
