In 1603, the first margrave moved into Bayreuth - and with him the military. Embedded in Upper Franconia's military history, the Museum für Militärtradition in Upper Franconia documents the 400-year history of the garrison town of Bayreuth and the troops stationed here: with pictures, uniforms and equipment, helmets, medals, weapons, but also with pewter figures and models.
