"Enemies became friends": The Museum für deutsch-amerikanische Nachkriegsgeschichte (Museum of German-American Postwar History) displays contemporary documents, equipment and everyday objects from the final phase of the Second World War and from the post-war period in order to depict life with the Americans since the end of the war in Germany and especially in Mainfranken and thus keep it alive in the spirit of international understanding.
