Museum Franz Xaver Stahl
Franz Xaver Stahl (1901-1977) was one of the most important animal painters in Germany. In his former home, history, art and creativity merge into a unique experience. With its unaltered studio, furniture and a large artist's garden, the property not only tells the story of animal painting, but also offers an impressive insight into the history of art, time, local history and the town of Erding. The special features are not only the paintings, but also an air-raid shelter from the 1930s and numerous old fruit trees in the artist's garden.
