Museum beim Strumpfar (Museum at the Strumpfar)
The name of the house says it all: the inhabitants of the farmhouse, which dates back to 1788, worked as stocking makers as a sideline. Today it serves as a museum of local history, but the parlour with the hosier's chair and the small shop have been preserved. A special feature is the "Wiedra Collection" with numerous testimonies of deep folk piety, especially reverse glass paintings and sculptures, but also Gertrud Wiedra's own works. Exhibits on local history as well as workshops and an area dedicated to the naturopath Johann Schroth (1798-1856) and the Schroth cure developed by him complete the exhibition.
