Museum Altomünster (Museum Altomünster)
St. Birgitta of Sweden (1303-1373) is one of the most important women of the Middle Ages - she was a mystic, politician and fighter for peace. The order of Birgittine nuns she founded spread throughout Europe. Germany's last convent of the Birgittine order was located in Altomünster (Museum Altomünster), which is located in the immediate vicinity of the convent church and recalls the history of the convent and the life of the founder of the order.
