Three late medieval craftsmen's houses in Kühnertsgasse show the life and work of Nuremberg craftsmen in earlier times. Spared from the devastating destruction of the Second World War, they can now be visited as a hands-on museum housing living quarters and a cutler's forge.A small permanent exhibition is now dedicated to the "Meistersinger" in a historically appropriate ambience. With a 3D film, pictures and audio stations, visitors can explore the myth of the great Nuremberg singer, which has changed over the centuries and was politically charged during the "Third Reich". A special feature related to the actual profession of Hans Sachs are original shoes from the 16th century, which were walled into a wall of the museum.
