Markus Wasmeier has entitled his open-air museum "The old Bavarian village - country life as it once was". The two-time Olympic ski champion has rebuilt ten historic buildings from the region between the Inn and Isar rivers, including a pub where the museum beer brewed on site is served. The surrounding meadows are home to old-breed domestic animals and traditional crops are grown in the gardens.
