The Lokschuppen exhibition centre is one of the top ten exhibition centres in Germany and offers a unique setting for natural history, archaeological and cultural history exhibitions on 1,500 m². The concept is aimed at families, specialists and school classes and is supported by high-quality museum education programmes. The exhibitions are thematically independent and individually tailored to the Lokschuppen. The Lokschuppen favours an emotional approach that appeals to visitors intuitively. The presentations are intended to offer high learning value and convey scientifically correct content in an appealing design.
