The Lenbachhaus Municipal Gallery, housed within the villa of the renowned "Prince of Painting" Franz von Lenbach, stands as a beacon of artistic excellence, boasting an internationally acclaimed collection. Central to its prestige is the unique assemblage of works by the "Blaue Reiter" (Blue Rider) group, featuring luminaries such as Wassily Kandinsky, Franz Marc, August Macke, Gabriele Münter, and Paul Klee.
