Kunstverein Augsburg e.V. (Augsburg Art Association e.V.)
Important information:
The historic home and workshop of Hans Holbein the Elder are now used by the Kunstverein Augsburg as an exhibition venue. The Kunstverein, which has been in existence for over 175 years, promotes contemporary art from Germany and abroad in Augsburg. In addition to presenting established modern art, the association also offers space for experimental and current artistic positions outside of commercial interests. Most of the exhibitions take place in the Holbeinhaus. Once a year, the Kunstverein also organises a large exhibition in the Tuscan Columned Hall of the Zeughaus in Augsburg.
