Kulturhaus der Otto-Hellmeier-Stiftung (House of Culture of the Otto Hellmeier Foundation)
Important information:
The Kulturhaus aims to contribute to the growing cultural diversity in the region near Lake Ammersee. It houses the artistic estate of the founder Otto Hellmeier, who was a member of the Königlich privilegierte Münchener Künstlergenossenschaft of 1868 until his death. The works on display mainly deal with themes from the foothills of the Alps: they are landscapes, still lifes and portraits. There is also a gallery in the middle wing of the house for temporary exhibitions of contemporary painters.
