Krankenhausmuseum (Hospital Museum)
Vials and drawers with cryptic labelling, mysterious substances, strange-looking equipment and a poison cabinet: the centrepiece of the Krankenhausmuseum (Hospital Museum) is the completely preserved hospital pharmacy from 1897, which gives a strong impression of the health care system a good 100 years ago. In the adjoining rooms, the history of the municipal hospital on Flurstraße is shown. A diverse collection of old medical equipment illustrates the breathtaking progress in modern medical technology. A short detour into the world of Agatha Christie's crime novels, whose poison murders bear witness to well-founded expertise, makes clear that there were also one or two poisoners among the "pill-pushers".
