Knauf-Museum (Knauf Museum)
Experience the art of ancient world cultures at first hand - without having to travel around the world? The Knauf-Museum (Knauf Museum) in Iphofen makes it possible. More than 200 replicas show the highlights of the great museums - for example, the boundary stele of Sesostris III from the Egyptian Museum in Berlin, Hammurabi's law stele from the Louvre in Paris or the Rosette stone from London - next to temple walls and stelae whose originals are still in place today, whether in Egypt, Central America or Ireland. A museum unique in Europe and a journey through four continents and five millennia, to be embarked upon in a former Franconian inn from the 17th century, supplemented by a remarkable new building.
