The collection of the Ursberg Monastery Museum mainly comprises works of art from the 15th to the 20th century, including seven late Baroque sculptures by the Franconian sculptor Ferdinand Tietz (1708-1777) and a pastel "Portrait of a Young Man" by Raphael Mengs (1728-1779). Also on display are devotional objects, furniture, ceramics, textiles and metalwork from monasteries as well as memorabilia of Dominikus Ringeisen, the founder of the Ursberg institutions for people with disabilities and the St Joseph's Congregation. The monastery library, built at the end of the 18th century and containing 12,500 volumes, can also be visited.
