Klostermühlenmuseum Gnadenberg (Gnadenberg Monastery Mill Museum)
The Countess Palatine of Neumarkt founded Germany's first Birgit convent at Eichelberg-Gnadenberg in 1439. During the Thirty Years' War, the monastery and the monastery mill were destroyed. The subsequent monastery miller built a new mill 200 m further south on the Schwarzach. The cultural history association and the municipality of Berg renovated the mill, which had been destroyed by a flood, and turned it into a museum. The half-timbered building, the mill equipment and the Birgitten Museum are worth seeing.
