Jagerhaus Gmund (Jagerhaus Gmund)
The "Jagerhaus" was the home of the royal district hunter Johann Baptist Mayr (1786-1834), better known as the "Wild Jager of Gmund". Today, the house in Gmund am Tegernsee not only houses local history, interesting facts about Gmund's industry and handicrafts, traditional costumes and marksmen, but, as the authentic home of the "Wild Jager", allows visitors to experience the events surrounding the "Jägerschlacht im Grund 1833" at first hand.
