Inn-Museum (Inn Museum)
Travelling downstream was comparatively easy, albeit dangerous, but a large number of people, draught animals and equipment were needed to pull a boat upstream against the current. The Inn-Museum (Inn Museum) in the 17th-century Bruckbaustadel and on the associated open-air site is a reminder of the river's former importance as a transport route and trade route. On display are documents and models relating to shipping, rafting and drifting, bridge building and river monitoring, as well as a variety of hydraulic engineering equipment. Particularly impressive are a full-size replica of a "Kuchlschiff" ship and a "Schopper" (shipbuilder's) workshop.
