At Eggersberg Castle, the Hofmarkmuseum Schloss Eggersberg (Hofmark Museum Eggersberg Castle) displays a broad collection of objects related to the former Hofmark Eggersberg. It ranges from dinosaur models and finds from the Hallstatt period to evidence of the castle from the Middle Ages to the present day. The history of the Hofmark, the lords of the castle and the parish of Eggersberg is also documented. Another station of the museum tour is dedicated to the representation of the Altmühltal in art.
