A museum for shoe lovers: the Historisches Schuhmuseum (Historical shoe museum) in the house of the shoemaker Heinrich Pflanz is home to around 1500 shoes from 8 centuries. King Ludwig II's dress shoes and Empress Sisi's ankle boots can be found here as well as traditional shoes from all over the world or footwear made of straw or car tyres. And, conveniently, the world's largest collection of shoehorns with 500 objects.
