Hirten- und Heimatmuseum Baschtlehaus Ebenhofen (Shepherd and local history museum Baschtlehaus Ebenhofen)
In the 18th century Baschtlehaus, a typical Allgäu single ridge farm, visitors learn about life on a farm and crafts in the past. Exhibits on flax cultivation and processing, beekeeping, wainwrighting, cooperage and shoemaking are on display. A separate section is dedicated to the hard life of the community shepherds who worked here from the 12th to the beginning of the 19th century. In addition, the history of the shepherds' brotherhood of the "Black Scapular" in Ebenhofen, founded in 1719, is presented.
