A permanent exhibition has been set up in the former official residence of the hangman of the Imperial City of Nuremberg directly above the river. It tells of the "job description" of the hangman, takes a look at the neighbourhood around the Henkerhaus (Hangman's House) and Henkersteg (Hangman's Bridge) and paints a vivid picture of crime and criminal justice in the Imperial City of Nuremberg.
