Heimschneidermuseum (Home Tailoring Museum)
Home tailoring was widespread in Großwallstatt from the end of the 19th century. The reason for this was the large number of small farmers who had to earn extra money. In a half-timbered house from the 16th century, the museum shows the development of home tailoring on the Lower Main, but also other small trades. Two typical home tailoring workshops provide an insight into the time before and after the introduction of electricity. A separate section is dedicated to the tailor and entrepreneur Johann Desch.
