The address "Sünchinger Wald" is as unusual as the premises: The local history museum is located in 14 converted former ammunition bunkers. At the centre of the museum are home furnishings (kitchen, living room and bedroom) from around 1900, 1930 and 1960, as well as old fire-fighting equipment, a laundry room, milk and pantry and an infirmary from the former Sünching district hospital. Some of the equipment can even be tried out: For example, visitors can spin, weave, bind brushes, plane or carve.
